Early Life and Career
Josh Giddey is an Australian professional basketball player born on October 10, 2002. He began his career with the Adelaide 36ers in the National Basketball League (NBL) before being drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2021 NBA Draft.
NBA Success
In his rookie season, Giddey quickly made an impact in the NBA, averaging 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game. He became the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Current Status
Giddey was traded to the Chicago Bulls during the 2023 NBA offseason and has continued to impress. In his first season with the Bulls, he is averaging 16.7 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game. He is considered a rising star and one of the most promising young players in the NBA.
