Indiana grabs 88-82 victory behind Mitchell's 16 second-half points
Phoenix falls to 7-10 this season after struggling to keep up with Fever's offense
INDIANAPOLIS -- Kelsey Mitchell came alive in the second half, scoring 16 of her game-high 22 points to lead the Indiana Fever to an 88-82 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday night.
The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Fever (6-9), while the Mercury (7-10) have now lost three straight.
Mitchell was held to just six points in the first half, but she exploded in the third quarter, scoring 10 points to help the Fever take a 65-56 lead. She added six more in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory.
